At the age of 9, Abraham Lincoln witnesses his mother who kills a vampire, Jack Barts. About 10 years later, he had unsuccessfully tried to remove Barts, but the process of making the acquaintance of Henry Sturgess, who teaches him how to fight and what it takes to kill a vampire.
