1962. An attractive American couple, the charismatic Chester MacFarland (Mortensen) and his seductive young wife Colette (Dunst), came to Athens by boat Corinth Canal. While tourism in the Acropolis Rydal (Isaac), a young American who works as a Greek-speaking tour guides, tourist scams on the side. Colette attracted by the beauty and impressed Chesters wealth and sophistication, Rydal gladly accepts his invitation to dinner. However, not everything is what it seems to MacFarland and Chesters kindly exterior hiding dark secrets. When Rydal visit some of their exclusive hotel, Chester pressed to help move the body of an apparently unconscious man he says attacked.
