5Storyline:
Los Angeles, 1928. Single mother returns from work to find her nine-year-old son disappeared. She calls the police to start searching. Five months later, the boy is found in Illinois who fits the description says hes son. To fanfare and photos, the LAPD reunite mother and son, but she insists that it is not her boyfriend. Police dismiss or as a liar and hysterical. When he joined the minister in his public criticism of the police, who then used the power of government to silence and intimidate her. Meanwhile, a cop goes dilapidated ranch to find a Canadian boy whos without legal status, telling young horror story. There is a charge of murder, but damages for abuse of power?
